Curtis Grimes is a contestant from Season 1 of The Voice. He was the thirty-second singer to be seen on the Blind Auditions and sang "Hillbilly Bone" by Blake Shelton. Cee Lo pressed his button making Curtis part of his team.
Cee Lo then chose during the Battle Rounds to pair up Curtis with Emily Valentine and gave them the song "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum. At the end of their performance Cee Lo chose Curtis to take through to the Quarterfinals and Emily was eliminated from the competition.
During the Quarterfinals, Curtis sang "Addicted to Love" by Robert Palmer and was 7th to sing during the live show. Curtis also sang with the rest of his team and their coach Cee Lo Green to "Everyday People" by Sly and the Family Stone. Curtis was eliminated along with The Thompson Sisters in this round.
